When Carlo Crocco left the Blinda Group to start his own company in 1976, he left with a vision. By 1980, that vision spawned innovation as Hublot engineered the first ever natural "tempered" rubber strap. These innovative timepieces quickly garnered the attention of the Kings of Spain, Greece, and Sweden, all of whom had to add a rubber strapped Hublot to their fine collection.
